Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI)

  • Fluorescent penetrant inspection services are offered for inspection of machined, fabricated and welded aerospace components and assemblies as per ASTM E1417 and MIL-STD-6866
  • All penetrant materials used are from the qualified product listing as per AMS 2644
  • The penetrant testing available are Type 1, Method A, Water-Washable and Type 1, Method D, Post Emulsified
  • FPI systems are maintained strictly as per the quality control frequencies required by ASTM E1417 and the specifications of the most of the aerospace engine primes
  • The technique sheets are prepared and approved by certified NAS410 Level III
  • The FPI systems are also in line with NADCAP requirements

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)

  • Fluorescent magnetic particle inspection services are offered for inspection of forging, casting and machined aerospace components. The stationary bench type equipment has got maximum capacity of 2000 amperes HWDC and AC option with 8 inches diameter coil
  • The system meets the requirements of ASTM E1444 and MIL-STD-1907
  • MPI system is maintained strictly as per the quality control frequencies required by ASTM E1444 and the specifications of the most of the aerospace engine primes
  • The technique sheets are prepared and approved by certified NAS410 Level III
  • The MPI system is also in line with NADCAP requirements

Ultrasonic Immersion Scanning Inspection

  • Ultrasonic immersion scanning inspection services are offered for inspection of raw materials, forgings, castings, pipes, welding and assemblies
  • The immersion UT scanning system is semi-automated system with analyzing and reporting software. The system can also provide B-scan and C-scan presentation. Printed permanent records can be availed from the system
  • The calibration test pieces used range from normal Flat Bottom Hole (FBH) blocks to pipes with EDM notches at OD and ID
  • Testing of parts with specially made calibration blocks
  • Large number of small parts can be scanned to get B-scan and C-scan images
  • Conventional A-scan display for calculations
  • Use of high frequency probes ensure highest sensitivity of the test results
  • Faster testing of larger quantity jobs for timely deliveries
  • All procedures are prepared, reviewed and approved by ASNT, ACCP, EN473 and NAS410 Level 3
  • Full time Level 3 support for all testing applications
